Admissions at Government Graduate College Muzaffargarh

Admission Policy

Admissions at Government Graduate College Muzaffargarh are conducted following the guidelines of Ghazi University, Dera Ghazi Khan (for 4-Year BS / B.Ed programmes) and the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dera Ghazi Khan (for Intermediate classes). We prioritise academic merit, character, and leadership potential.

Open Merit

80% of seats are reserved for students selected purely on the basis of their previous academic performance.

Reserved Quota

Special quotas available for Sports, Disabled Students, and Co-curricular achievers as per Govt policy.

How to Apply

All admissions are processed in person at the campus Admission Office.

Collect Prospectus

Obtain the official prospectus from the college office or download it from this website. Review all program eligibility criteria before proceeding.

Prepare Documents

Gather original and attested copies of: Matric/Inter certificate & DMC, CNIC / Form-B (student & parent), Character Certificate, Domicile Certificate, and 8 passport-size photographs (white background).

Visit Admission Office

Bring all documents to the Admission Office at Government Graduate College Muzaffargarh. Office hours: Monday – Saturday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Staff will verify your documents and register your application on the spot.

Submit Fee Challan

After registration you will receive a fee challan. Deposit the required fee at any Bank of Punjab branch and submit the paid challan back to the office.

Confirmation & Enrolment

Once your fee is verified, your admission is confirmed. You will receive your college card, timetable, and class details on the orientation day.

Dress Code & Uniform Policy

All students of Government Graduate College Muzaffargarh are required to observe the prescribed dress code throughout their stay within college premises. The uniform reflects the college's commitment to discipline, Islamic values, and a focused academic environment.

Intermediate (F.A / F.Sc / ICS)

  • Plain white kameez (shalwar kameez)
  • Plain white shalwar
  • White dupatta on head (mandatory)
  • Black plain closed shoes
  • White socks

BS / Graduate Programs

  • Plain white or off-white kameez
  • White or off-white plain shalwar/trousers
  • White/off-white dupatta on head (mandatory)
  • Black plain closed shoes
  • Abaya / pardah is welcomed and encouraged
Not Permitted on Campus
✗ Embroidered, printed, or coloured kameez ✗ Tight-fitting or figure-hugging clothing ✗ Jeans, trousers, or western dress ✗ Open sandals or heeled footwear in class ✗ Heavy jewellery, bangles, or loud accessories ✗ Heavy or visible makeup
Students found violating the dress code may be sent home or denied entry. Repeated violations will be referred to the Discipline Committee as per college regulations.
